Pictures from Breakfeast II, over Memorial Day weekend in May 1998, in Emerald Coast (Ft. Walton Beach, FL). A cool event.
Most of the people were gathered around the main fire at night..
Sadly, my chair, veteran of three clans, finally bit died the true death. I burned it on the funeral pyre.
Here George pays his respects to my chair by attempting to cook food on it.
Night eventually ended, and the fire burned out, but everyone was still there next morning. Evil Russ (standing) looks over the gathering.
Mainly ditched the first day. But on Sunday, we did get around to haveing some battlegames... Kain in foreground.
The site was very primitive. However, we heard there was a stream where one could wash up. Upon ariving there, however, we discovered that a cottonmouth snake called this his home. Here several people (Sven (walking off, in white), Uchette, George (pointing), and Sarthore (at right)) try to decide what to do about it.
We took a trip out to the beach on the local barrier island, where the water was very shallow a good ways out (never made it past waist deep). Here you see the true versatility of the Silverwater boogie board shield design...
While in Emerald Coast, Cho Hag paid homage at a local temple.
