Certain items of power are used in the battlegames and are passed on to new owners
every six months via a quest. Every Amtgard group may use its own relics, though
these are not to be used in interkingdom battlegames.
The standard Amtgard rulebook 6.0 relics are:

Dagger of Infinite Penetration
- Type: Throwing Weapon
- By: Amtgard rulebook.
- When thrown it will pass through all armor values except invulnerability
and damage the target.
- If it hits a shield the shield is destroyed.
Homestone
- Type: Item
- By: Amtgard Rulebook
- Allows holder to mend broken weapons and shields ("I mend this item"
x 10).
- Allows the person's dead teammates to come back alive at his location rather
than having to return to their base.
Odin's Hammer
- Type: Weapon
- By: Amtgard Rulebook
- A one-handed red weapon.
- Only usable by barbarians. (In fact, it is the only relic useable by Barbarians.)
Ring of Power
- Type: Weapon
- By: Amtgard Rulebook
- Negates the first hit from each seperate opponent per battlegame.
- Counts against weapons and enchantments only, it is ineffective against
spells.
- Does work against class abilities.
Shield of Reflection
- Type: Shield
- By: Amtgard Rulebook
- Indestructible.
- Permanently Indestructible. We mean it.
- Will negate any hit that strikes it, including magic and white weapons.
Sword of Flame
- Type: Weapon
- By: Amtgard Rulebook
- Is considered flame.
- Will kill (as per "Enchant Weapon") on any hit to an unprotected
area.
- Confers upon itself and owner "Protection from Flame".
- It itself is immune to "Iceball" and "Entangle".
- May only by used one life per battlegame.
